Manganese bronze is softer and less durable than C630 bearing bronze, but allows for lower cost and custom grinding is quick and easy. Finishing can be done with simple tools such as a spherical honing stone and an electric drill. Rapid heat transfer and excellent lubricity.
Note: Standard non-oversized dimensions (for reference only) are: 0.5650" O.D. (14.35mm); 0.3760" I.D. (9.55mm); 1.880" O.A.L. (47.75mm).
Note: Special manganese ball grinders and sharpening stones are available.
