Manganese bronze is softer and less durable than C630 bearing bronze, but allows for lower cost and custom grinding is quick and easy. Finishing can be done with simple tools such as a spherical honing stone and an electric drill. Rapid heat transfer and excellent lubricity.
Note: Standard dimensions without oversize (for reference only) are 0.5650" O.D. (14.35mm); 0.3760" I.D. (9.55mm); 1.880" O.A.L. (47.75mm).
Note: Special manganese steel reamers and ball-shaped grinding stones are available.
