Manganese bronze. Standard size: 0.6250" O.D. (15.88mm); 0.3745" I.D. (9.51mm); 1.91" O.A.L. (48.51mm). Manganese bronze is softer and less durable than C630 bearing bronze, but allows for lower cost and custom reaming is quick and easy, with the finishing able to be done with simple tools such as a ball hone and an electric drill. Fast heat transfer and good lubricity.
Note: Special manganese steel reamers and ball-shaped grinding stones are available.
