Manganese bronze is softer and less durable than C630 bearing bronze, but allows for lower cost and custom grinding is quick and easy. The finish can be achieved with simple tools such as a spherical honing stone and an electric drill. Rapid heat transfer and excellent lubricity.
Note: The standard dimensions without oversize (for reference only) are 0.5650" O.D. (14.35mm); 0.3760" I.D. (9.55mm); 1.880" O.A.L. (47.75mm).
Note: Special manganese reamers and grinding stones are available.
