Manganese bronze. Standard size: 0.5650" O.D. (14.35mm); 0.3760" I.D. (9.55mm); 1.880" O.A.L. (47.75mm). Manganese bronze is softer and less durable than C630 bearing bronze, but allows for lower cost and custom reaming is quick and easy. Finishing can be done with simple tools such as a ball hone and an electric drill. Fast heat transfer and excellent lubricity.
Note: Special reamers and ball-shaped sharpening stones for manganese are available.
