These isolated risers are designed to be solidly mounted on the top triple tree and are installed with the included machined aluminium riser bushings. This creates a much more rigid handlebar set-up, allowing better control and much greater use of the bike's suspension and braking capabilities. As for vibration damping, the rubber bushings have been relocated directly beneath the handlebar. There they are placed inside the middle section of the riser. Using only these rubber isolators drastically reduces unwanted movement in the bushings. This creates a much more solid handlebar feel, giving greater confidence when handling the bike. You will notice the difference from the rigid-mount riser legs and relocated rubber isolators straight away.

Note: If you buy the 984604 RG instrument cluster bezel or the 984618 Softail digital instrument cluster bezel together with your risers, you will need to add the bracket separately (either the Kraus 984606 T-Bar clamp or the 984620 isolated instrument cluster top bracket and the 3" 984605 extension for maximum adjustability).
Note: Kraus isolating risers are designed and manufactured for universal fitment. Some modification may be necessary depending on the application. This product is NOT compatible with models that include handlebar clamps integrated into the upper triple tree clamp.
Note: The 5" version for the Kickback option (= Kickback risers without legs) is NOT compatible with the Kraus Raptor or T-Rex backrest plates in bagger applications.
Note: Kraus isolated risers have a modular construction. You can use them without legs or swap the riser legs for optional available lengths if you decide to use a shorter/taller rise later on. See the 'optional isolated riser legs' for 4 available lengths between 3.5" (89mm) and 9.5" (241mm) in height.
