HSS Cobalt 5% metal drill bit, manufactured from alloyed high-speed steel. Highly suitable for use on alloy steels and difficult-to-cut steels such as stainless steel. The addition of cobalt gives the drill bits extremely high hardness, enabling them to cut through alloy steels and otherwise hard-to-cut materials like stainless steel. Full sharpening during the production process results in a very sharp and high-precision drill bit. The precise split point ensures self-centring and vibration-free drilling. When used in combination with cutting oil, this will result in a very long tool life.
