Fully ground HSS step drills manufactured from high-speed steel. Full grinding during the production process ensures a very sharp drill with excellent precision. The precise split point guarantees self-centring and vibration-free drilling. The step drill also deburrs in a single operation. The addition of a cut-out allows for better metal chip evacuation during drilling. The use of cutting oil is recommended for a very long tool life. The triangular shank optimises grip in the chuck and prevents the drill from slipping. Highly suitable for use on plastics and non-alloy steel sheet up to 3mm. Often used in cable trays and bodywork. Also suitable for enlarging existing holes.
