Step drill bits, HSS, fully ground, manufactured from high-speed steel. Full grinding during production ensures a very sharp drill bit with excellent precision. The precise split point guarantees self-centring and vibration-free drilling. The step drill bit also deburrs in a single operation. When used in conjunction with cutting oil, this results in a very long tool life. The triangular shank optimises grip in the chuck and prevents the drill bit from slipping. Highly suitable for use on plastics and non-alloy rolled steels up to 3 mm thick. Commonly used on cable trays and body panels. Also suitable for enlarging existing holes.
