Fully ground HSS step drills manufactured from high-speed steel. The complete grinding during the production process ensures a very sharp drill with excellent precision. The precise split point guarantees self-centring and vibration-free drilling. The step drill also deburrs in a single operation. When used in combination with cutting oil, this results in a very long tool life. The triangular shank optimises grip in the chuck and prevents the drill from slipping. Highly suitable for use on plastics and non-alloy rolled steels up to 3 mm thick. Frequently used in cable trays and body panels. Also suitable for enlarging existing holes.
