Adjustable preload for rider setup, also allowing minor preload adjustment when switching between rider weights and loads. Features adjustable rebound damping, specifically designed for quick, precise and repeatable changes to riding comfort and performance with a simple twist of a knob. Low-friction sleeve bearings top and bottom for easy installation; this also allows the shock to float in its mounting and prevents binding. Hard-anodised 46 mm machined aluminium monotube design with a lightweight, high-flow piston for improved fluid flow, resulting in unmatched handling and control of the bike. The hard chrome stem is 14% larger for increased strength. The internal floating nitrogen piston ensures consistent damping performance. The deflecting disc valve self-adjusts to frequency and guarantees controlled performance. Legend's durable, low-friction sealing system and sliding bearings provide better performance and feel. OEM mounting hardware can be reused.

Note: The standard duty shock absorber is recommended for a total loaded weight of up to 350 lbs (159 kg). A heavy duty shock absorber is recommended for a total rider/passenger/luggage weight over 350 lbs (159 kg).
