The material is high-quality compressed sheet, made with aramid and other synthetic fibres and uses an NBR binder (nitrile butadiene rubber).
Flexible, easy to use, trace and cut with scissors or craft knife
Resistant to: oils, solvents, fuels, mild acids and alkalis, water, low-pressure steam, air and other gases
Recommended applications for sealing: crankcase side covers, valve covers, base and cylinder, gearboxes, transmission components, water pumps, thermostats, fuel pumps, line flanges and oil hoses
Favourable properties for thermal insulation and exhaust mounts
Service conditions up to 750 °F
