Advantages: The organic friction material offers very predictable braking power, less noise and is very friendly to brake discs thanks to its softer materials (such as aramid fibre), which help prevent disc grabbing and are more economically priced. A globally excellent and reliable brake pad for cruising riding.
Disadvantages: They engage more slowly in wet conditions and are prone to glazing when overheated. Furthermore, they wear out faster than sintered pads and generate more brake dust.
