Advantages: The organic friction material provides very predictable braking power, less noise and is very kind to brake discs thanks to its softer materials (such as aramid), which help prevent seizure wear and come at a more economical price. A globally excellent and reliable brake pad for cruisers.
Disadvantages: They activate more slowly in wet conditions than sintered pads and are prone to "glazing" when overheated. They last less long than sintered pads and generate more brake dust.
