MCS reinforced rigid leather pannier set. 17 litres

17 litres per bag. Dimensions per bag: 43 cm long x 16 cm wide x 26 cm high. Made from high-quality split leather with a thickness of 2.8 mm. All saddlebags, side bags and sissy bar bags include a 4 mm thick HDPE (thermoplastic polyethylene) rear panel unless otherwise stated. The same material used, for example, in kayaks, to guarantee maximum strength and shape retention under adverse conditions. The reinforcement plate is stitched to the leather, providing excellent strength and great mounting versatility. A special groove has been cut into the HDPE rear panel, allowing the stitching to sit recessed within the groove, below the surface of the panel. This protects the stitching from wear. All bags are pre-treated with a special oil to maximise their lifespan and water resistance. All bags are handmade by experienced staff to ensure a consistently high standard of quality.
Fitting note: These panniers can be used with the Ledrie 559467 universal pannier rack or the Ledrie 55946 universal pannier rack. As the specific application for each motorcycle and rider preference vary, no hardware is included and no pre-drilling is carried out to mount the pannier to the rack. Holes can be drilled in the reinforced rear section of the pannier, at the desired point, and it can be installed on the frame of the universal rack, which must be ordered separately, or custom made. Many riders prefer a simple but effective installation to the rack using sturdy cable ties.
