MCS, set of reinforced leather hard panniers. 25 litres

25 litres per bag. Dimensions per bag: 52 cm long x 17.5 cm wide x 28 cm high. Made of high-quality split leather with a thickness of 2.8 mm. All panniers, side bags and pillion bar bags include a 4 mm thick HDPE (thermoplastic polyethylene) rear panel unless otherwise stated. The same material is used that, for example, kayaks are made of, to guarantee maximum strength and shape retention in adverse conditions. The reinforcing plate is sewn to the leather, giving it excellent strength and a wide range of universal mounting options. A special slot has been cut into the HDPE rear panel, allowing the seam to sit recessed within the slot, below the surface of the panel. This protects the seam against abrasion. All bags are pre-treated with a special oil to maximise their service life and water resistance. All bags are handmade by experienced staff to guarantee a consistent standard of quality.
Fitting note: These panniers can be used with the Ledrie 559467 universal pannier rack or with the Ledrie 55946 universal pannier rack. As the specific application for each motorcycle and rider preference vary, no hardware is included and no preparations are made for mounting the pannier to the rack. Holes can be drilled in the reinforced rear section of the pannier, at the desired point, and it can be mounted to the universal rack frame, which must be ordered separately, or custom made. Many riders prefer a simple yet effective attachment to the rack using sturdy cable straps.
Fitting note: Model-specific hardware kits are available as 559463 for Sportster 91-03, 559464 for Sportster 04-13, 559465 for Softail 86-17; Dyna 96-17 (excl. FLD); Sportster 14-20.
