MIB, thread pitch gauge. US threads, UNF

Used for positive identification of the type and pitch (threads) of threads used in bolts or nuts.
The US standard (UTS or Unified Threads Standard) is the most widely used in the USA and Canada.
The threads come in 2 types: UNF 'Fine' or UNC 'Coarse'. UNF is most used in steel, UNC is most used in aluminium.
