Removes and installs OEM tapered roller bearing #45700009 (MCS 577074) at the base of the steering stem.
Used to install and remove the lower fork stem bearing at the base of the neck without damaging the fork stem. The removal process requires cutting away the outer sheet-metal cage (containing the rollers) of the tapered bearing, thus separating the rollers and cage from the race. The race can then be extracted. Includes a bearing pressing adapter, used to install the new bearing. The tool can be used with the steering stops installed.
