On M8 models, the clutch cable has 2 sections, a lower and an upper one. The upper half provides the differences in the actual cable length. This Motion Pro clutch cable only replaces the upper half of the clutch cable assembly. It is available in various lengths, for use as a stock replacement or as over- or undersized for lower or taller aftermarket handlebars. The free length is identical at 2.2" (5.6 cm) for all clutch cables. Simply measure the current length of your cable's housing and proceed accordingly. The OEM replacement number is listed for your reference.
The innovative Motion Pro design eliminates the unreliable plastic junction box parts and OEM cable spring mechanism. Removing the plastic components provides better feel, precision and stiffness. The junction box and cover are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium with a high-quality black anodised finish. The threaded adjuster provides precise and reliable cable adjustment. Premium chrome-plated terminals are used. A POM coating provides smoothness and reliability. The longitudinally wound black outer casing resists compression.
Note: Not compatible with Batwing (Street Glide) models due to a different "elbow" angle.
