NFC (Near Field Communication) technology is a variant of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and is extremely tamper-resistant. The mo.lock digital ignition switch is used to switch the ignition on/off at a distance of approximately 20 to 40 mm. The mechanical ignition switch can be replaced by the mo.lock ignition switch, allowing hidden installation for a clean look. It can directly switch an automotive relay of up to 40 A. It comes with 2 'keys'; additional keys can be purchased separately and 'learned' to switch the mo.lock. The mo-lock NFC has an RGB LED on the front that indicates status via colours. The standby current in off mode is only 3.2 mA, dropping to 1.5 mA after 16 hours and 0.75 mA after 8 days, to protect the battery. The mo.lock NFC (32 mm diameter x 12 mm height without terminals) comes with a 40 A automotive relay, mounting bracket, 2 NFC keys and detailed instructions.
