Complete Shovelhead style engines by S&S Series-SH

What you cannot see inside the engine is equally impressive. The new Shovelhead-style lifter guides have been designed around Evolution-style quiet lifters. Corrected valve guide diameter geometry ensures correct valve timing when using Evolution-style camshafts. The unique pushrods are collapsible for easy installation and removal, yet are stronger than the old adjustable rods. Inside the billet rocker boxes we find S&S's exclusive rocker shafts and S&S's new forged rockers with Shovelhead-style rollers. The result is a 93CI Shovelhead engine with a classic appearance, improved performance and modern technology, ideal for those who believe service life is more important than performance. For lightweight, high-performance bikes, a high-compression version with a twin-plug head is also available. The 93CI alternator-style engines are available with a cast aluminium or billet aluminium cam cover (nose cone). All engines are assembled by S&S technicians and come with an S&S Single Fire Super Stock ignition. A Single Fire coil is not included and must be obtained separately. SH series engines carry a 2-year limited warranty.
