This gel battery with AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology is an alternative to the corresponding conventional and maintenance-free batteries. Thanks to the addition of silica to the acid, the internal liquid of the battery turns into a gelatinous substance. Gel batteries are filled and activated at the factory, making them immediately ready to use straight off the shelf.
