Öhlins, R&T suspension fluid No. 5. 4 litres

- R&T (Road & Track) front fork oil - Viscosity 20 Centistokes at 40° (similar to SAE 7.5W) - 4 Litres.
Compatible with telescopic, inverted forks and all Öhlins suspension products. This oil is mineral-based and designed to reduce friction, decreasing wear and oil contamination, thus extending the life of both the suspension components and the fork oil. Especially designed to reduce cavitation (foaming). When the suspension is working hard, foaming can be a problem. Foaming introduces air/gases into the fluid, which are compressible. Since foaming reduces damping capacity, it is important to use a cavitation-resistant damping fluid to keep the damping system working properly.
Note: To put the viscosity in context, that of water is approximately 1 centistoke at 20°C.
