Used to replace the OEM inner aluminium primary cover with an old-style tin inner primary cover, compatible with the late style Shovel engine (70-84 style alternator rotor).
For pedal start only.
Note: Requires a tin/steel outer primary cover (955817 plain chrome, 555816 OEM style chrome; 555834 OEM style black) that is compatible with the OEM 70-84 compensating sprocket.
Note: A spacer may be required between the crankcase and cover.
