Note: Steel breathers require steel breather valve spacers. Plastic breathers require plastic spacers. Do not mix steel and plastic parts.
Note: The OEM plastic breather is low-cost but is an inferior-quality product that will cause damage to the crankcases at the breather hole due to its tendency to distort. The sooner this type of stock breather is removed, the better. We strongly recommend replacing it with a steel breather valve, as used on earlier engines.
