Zodiac offers pulley offsets of 1/2", 9/16", 3/4" and 1" for wide tyre conversions without having to offset the transmission. The pulleys have very precisely cut teeth and have been machined to minimal tolerance for longer life. Available with 29, 32 or 34 teeth to allow the choice of final ratio. The stock pulley on all 5-Speed Big Twins is 32 teeth. A larger pulley will increase top speed but reduce acceleration and is usually used on large displacement engines. 
 
 Note: Although models from 2000 onwards use the narrow rear belt and pulley (1 1/8" instead of 1 1/2"), the width of the front pulley has not changed.
