The SBW saddlebag speaker comes equipped with a custom subwoofer paired with a passive radiator to boost bass response, along with an integrated 300-watt digital amplifier. The neodymium magnet motor enhances the subwoofer's strength; it is also extremely lightweight, meaning more output and less weight. The sealed enclosure provides optimum sound quality, and the tough rotationally moulded ABS plastic protects them wherever you ride. The high and low level adjustment switches allow connection to any set-up; the system is plug-and-play behind Harley-Davidson OE radios or even aftermarket replacement radios with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
With all this new bass comes new technology... Well, almost... The Product Development team devised a solution to direct the bass from the saddlebags without destroying the structure of each one. Each subwoofer kit comes with grommets equipped with a unique membrane that allows sound through while keeping the elements out. It is specific technology everyone knows and has experienced in sports headphones; it is the special membrane that is the genius behind this product; you're welcome.
