High pressure gas system in a dual coil shock absorber system.
The shock absorbers include a new filler valve to replace the original one.
Also available in the RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload) series, which comes with the added convenience of a Remote Adjustable Preload, located behind the passenger's left footpeg, for more accessible adjustment.
What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best option; Heavy Duty shocks will give a harder ride. For larger riders with a lot of luggage, Heavy Duty springs are the right choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
The use of Heavy Duty shock absorbers or springs is recommended on motorcycles operating at or near the manufacturer's maximum load capacity for more than 50% of the time.
