What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best choice; the Heavy Duty shocks will offer a firmer ride. For the bigger riders, with a lot of luggage, the Heavy Duty springs are the right choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
It is recommended to use Heavy Duty shock absorbers or springs on motorcycles operating 50% or more of the time at the maximum load recommended by the manufacturer.
