What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best choice; the Heavy Duty shocks will offer a firmer ride. For larger riders with a lot of luggage, the Heavy Duty springs are the right choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
Heavy Duty shocks or springs are recommended on motorbikes operated 50% or more of the time at the manufacturer's maximum rated load.
