Progressive Suspension's best value-for-money shock, ideal as a stock replacement. Nitrogen-charged double-wall steel body. Multi-stage speed-sensitive valves. Five-position cam-style preload adjustment.
Note: Black 412 shock absorbers may be supplied without the lower cover.
What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best choice; the Heavy Duty shocks will offer a firmer ride. For larger riders with a lot of luggage, the Heavy Duty springs are the right choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
The use of Heavy Duty shock absorbers or springs is recommended on motorcycles operating at or near the manufacturer's maximum load for more than 50% of the time.
