PS, shock absorber set model 444. 11.5". Black. High strength

444 series shock absorbers:
Incorporates FST (Frequency Sensing Technology) which dynamically adjusts damping according to the condition of the road surface. Threaded top mount and hand-adjustable preload.
Note: Optionally available is the QPS (Quick Preload System) 704545 adjustment kit. It replaces the stock top caps of all standard 444 and 944 touring shocks, allowing quick preload adjustment without removing the saddlebags.
What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best choice; Heavy Duty shocks will offer a stiffer ride. For big riders with a lot of luggage, Heavy Duty springs are the right choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
The use of Heavy Duty shock absorbers or springs is recommended on motorcycles operating at or near the manufacturer's maximum load for more than 50% of the time.
