The 12.5" Ultra Low version lowers Street Glides by 1" and by 2" on most other Touring models, with minimal loss of ride quality.
What are the differences between the 'STD Duty', 'Heavy Duty' or 'Super Heavy Duty' shocks from Progressive Suspension?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, STD Duty is probably your best choice; the Heavy Duty shocks would offer a harder ride. For larger riders with a lot of luggage, the Heavy Duty springs are the best choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
The use of Heavy Duty shock absorbers or springs is recommended on motorcycles operating at or near the manufacturer's maximum load for more than 50% of the time. In short: Standard (suitable for combined rider weights up to 250 lbs / 113 kg), Heavy-Duty (from 250 lbs / 113 kg to 350 lbs / 159 kg) and Super Duty (from 350 lbs / 159 kg upwards).
