X-Grip mount for large phones.
For phone/device dimensions:
- Width: 1.75" (44.5mm) to 4.5" (114mm) wide - Max. depth: .875" (22.2mm) X-Grip attaches directly to the Tough-Claw base. Does not use a socket arm, giving it an ultra-low profile.
The 'Tough-Claw™' base:
- Clamps to tubes/handlebars from .625" (15.9mm) to 1.5" (38mm) diameter - Flat surfaces up to 1.14" (29mm) thick.
- Supports max. 2 lbs / 907 grams in normal use or 1 lb (454 grams) in heavy use - Includes: (1) Optional strip, (1) Tube of rubber cap glue.
Consists of the Tough-Claw base and the X-Grip universal holder for large phones and phablets. The X-Grip holder features a clean, clever four-leg design that offers great holding ability without hiding your smartphone behind foam and plastic pads. The X-Grip holder expands and contracts for a perfect fit on most smartphones. This mount rotates 360 degrees. The X-Grip includes a tether recommended for outdoor applications. The base is compatible with handheld devices that fit the stated dimensions. It is important to check the dimensions of your handheld device with case/sleeve/cover when determining the overall size.
RAM Mounts - How does it work? A 3-piece system: 1 the bracket base, 2 the connecting arm, 3 the device holder.
- 1 the bracket base - Equipped with RAM's 1" diameter elastomer hard rubber socket ball. An easy-to-adjust, non-slip, vibration-damping connection. Various mounting base options available.
- 2 socket arm / connecting arm - A connecting arm with sockets that grip the rubber balls of the holder base and the phone holder, effectively connecting both parts while offering virtually infinite adjustment without tools.
- 3 Phone holder / X-Grip - An innovative system with spring and rubber caps on the 'fingers' that will hold your phone. The X-Grip phone holder is equipped with RAM's elastomeric hard rubber socket ball for a non-slip, vibration-damping mount to the socket arm.
