- Width: 1.875" (47.6mm) to 3.25" (82.6mm) - Depth: max. 0.875" (22.2mm) The X-Grip holder attaches directly to the Tough-Claw base. It does not use a socket arm, giving it a very low profile.
The 'Tough-Claw™' base:
- Attaches to tubes/handlebars with a diameter of 0.625" (15.9mm) to 1.5" (38mm) - Flat surfaces up to 1.14" (29mm) thick.
- Supports max. 2 lbs / 907 grams in normal use or 1 lb (454 grams) in heavy use.
- Includes: (1) Optional Tether, (1) Glue tube for rubber covers.
Comprises the Tough-Claw base and the X-Grip universal mount. The X-Grip mount has a clever, clean four-leg design that offers great holding power without hiding your smartphone behind foam and plastic pads. The X-Grip mount expands and contracts for a perfect fit on most smartphones. This holder rotates 360 degrees. The X-Grip includes a device tether, recommended for outdoor applications. The mount is compatible with hand-held devices that fit within the stated dimensions. It is important to check the dimensions of your hand-held device with case/sleeve/cover when determining overall size.
RAM Mounts - How does it work? A 3-piece system: 1 the bracket base, 2 the connecting arm, 3 the device holder.
- 1 the mount base - Equipped with RAM's 1" diameter hard elastomer rubber ball. An easy-to-adjust, non-slip, vibration-absorbing connection. Various mounting base options available.
- 2 socket arm / connecting arm - A connecting arm with sockets that grip the rubber balls of the holder base and the phone holder, effectively connecting both parts while offering virtually infinite adjustment without tools.
- 3 Phone holder / X-Grip - An innovative system with spring and rubber caps on the 'fingers' that will hold your phone. The X-Grip phone holder is equipped with RAM's hard elastomer rubber ball for a non-slip, vibration absorbing mount to the socket arm.
