RAM Mounts - How does it work? A 3-piece system: 1 the bracket base, 2 the connecting arm, 3 the device holder.
- 1 the holder base - Equipped with RAM's 1" diameter hard elastomer rubber socket ball. A connection that is easy to adjust, non-slip and vibration absorbing. Several mounting base options available.
- 2 socket arm / connecting arm - A connecting arm with sockets that grip the rubber balls of the holder base and the phone holder, effectively connecting both parts while offering virtually infinite adjustment without tools.
- 3 Phone holder / X-Grip - An innovative system with spring and rubber caps on the 'fingers' that will hold your phone. The X-Grip phone holder is equipped with RAM's elastomeric hard rubber socket ball for a non-slip, vibration-damping mount to the socket arm.
