Comes with the X-Grip and a single-piece articulating arm (joint-to-joint length of 1.75" (44.5 mm)) with tapered base that installs inside the round hole of the fork stem nut. Fits fork stem nuts with a 12 to 26 mm centre hole, and with the base inverted, 27 to 38 mm. Offers a very low-profile installation. Supports a maximum of 2 lbs / 907 grams in normal use or 1 lb (454 grams) in heavy use.

RAM Mounts - How does it work? A 3-piece system: 1 the bracket base, 2 the connecting arm, 3 the device holder.
- 1 the mounting base - Equipped with RAM's 1" diameter elastomer hard rubber ball joint. An easy to adjust, non-slip and vibration-absorbing connection. Several mounting base options available.
- 2 link arm / connecting arm - A connecting arm with joints that grip the rubber balls of the base mount and phone mount, effectively connecting both parts whilst offering virtually infinite tool-free adjustment.
- 3 Phone holder / X-Grip - An innovative system with springs and rubber caps on the 'fingers' that will hold your phone. The X-Grip phone holder is equipped with RAM's elastomeric hard rubber ball joint for a non-slip, vibration-damping mount to the articulating arm.
