The base includes black protective caps to cover the exposed ends of the U-bolt. The holder is designed with RAM's patented 1" diameter hard-rubber ball and socket system, which offers adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm, allowing near-infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The included composite rail adapter can reduce the minimum rail width to 0.5". The included X-Grip holder has a clean, clever four-leg design that offers great holding power without hiding your phone behind foam and plastic pads. The spring-loaded X-Grip holder expands and contracts, allowing a perfect custom fit for your mobile phone.
