Voltage regulator rectifier

Regulates voltage in Harley-Davidson and Buell alternators, unlike other rectifiers or regulators that discharge to earth, generating maximum stator current and high temperatures.
Cycle Electric rectifier regulators block current to control voltage; this reduces stator current, lowering temperature and engine load, resulting in more efficient operation.
Before replacing the regulator, check the stator for short circuits to earth and correct AC output. If the stator is faulty, a complete charging system upgrade kit is recommended.
