EBC produces a full range of floating and non-floating disc brake rotors for modern Big Twin and Sportster. EBC has opted for stainless steel centres because of the weight and rugged nature of the larger American bikes. The floating rotors are mounted using EBC's unique SD System drive button technology. EBC floating front rotors feature 5 buttons while the rear rotors are made up of 10 buttons to provide a sturdy, robust-looking unit worthy of its heavy-duty application. EBC strongly recommends always using new pads when replacing rotors, as old or worn pads can cause hot spots or glazing of the rotor and will promote brake fade and loss of braking. EBC brake pads can be found elsewhere in this catalogue. EBC offers a range of solid 5-spoke rotors and a selection of floating 5-spoke discs with either circular or contoured rotor design. The discs are available in "Wide Band" for use with original calipers, or "Narrow Band" for use with aftermarket calipers.
