S&S, 3-1/2" bore piston kit 8:1CR. +.010"

Standard 8:1 compression. Used as a stock replacement for 1340 (80") Shovelhead models with 3-1/2" bore and stock 4-1/4" stroke. These forged S&S pistons are made from an advanced alloy with skirt profiles, resulting in a quiet, long-lasting engine, quality previously only attainable with cast pistons. This is an excellent option for overhauling your original 1340cc Shovelhead.
Note: S&S piston fitting recommendations: Tight fit .0030" to .0035", loose fit .004" to .005".
Note: In any application, the technician must be able to assess the components to determine their suitability in combination with the other engine components, before installation. It is important that a skilled mechanic installs and makes the necessary adjustments. The rider must follow standard break-in and operating procedures for rebuilt engines.
