S&S, 3-1/2" diameter piston kit 9:1CR. Standard

High 9:1 compression ratio (53cc dome). Suitable as a direct replacement for 1340 (80") Shovelhead models with 3-1/2" bore and standard 4-1/4" stroke. These S&S forged pistons are made from an advanced alloy with skirt profiles, resulting in a quiet engine and greater durability, characteristics previously only achievable with cast pistons. This is an excellent option for rebuilding your stock 1340cc Shovelhead with a higher-compression piston. Pistons include wrist pins, pin locks and piston rings.
Note: S&S piston fitting recommendations: Tight fit .0030" to .0035", loose fit .004" to .005".
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic carries out the installation and any necessary adjustments. The rider must follow standard running-in and riding procedures for remanufactured engines.
