Forged piston set. For 1200cc (74") 41-78 Knuckle, Panhead and Shovel engines, and 1340cc Shovel. Compatible with engines using long-stroke flywheels and standard 3-7/16" (1200cc) or 3-1/2" (1340cc) cylinders with 5.330" length. Compression ratio will be approximately 8.4:1 with a 4-1/2" stroke, 9.4:1 with a 4-5/8" stroke and 10.8:1 with a 4-3/4" stroke. 50cc piston dome volume. Advanced alloy and piston skirt profile for low noise and long engine life. Pistons include wrist pins, pin locks and piston rings.
Note: The 3-7/16" (+.060") bore of the 1200cc engine is identical to the 3-1/2" standard bore of the 1340cc engine.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic installs and carries out the necessary adjustments. The rider must follow standard running-in and riding procedures for rebuilt engines.
