S&S, 500 Sportster camshaft set

.500" valve lift. Direct drop-in, good torque. 74" to 89" with compression ratio of 9:1 to 10.5:1 and 89" to 100" with compression ratio below 9.5:1. Compatible with solid or hydraulic lifters with adjustable pushrods. Checking clearances is recommended.
Note 1: Compatible with XL 00-22 models when a 91-99 XL style sprocket is installed (available from S&S as 909041/2/3/4, 909042, 909043 or 909044) to match the pitch on the second cam.
Note 2: XL 00-03 with S&S flywheels or pinion shafts require 91-99 style cams and S&S 86-87 oil pump drive pinion and pinion shaft.
Note 3: Stock 86-03 XL valve springs are suitable up to .510" valve lift. Stock 04-22 XL valve springs are suitable up to .585" valve lift.
