S&S, high-strength connecting rod 86-99 XL

S&S Heavy Duty connecting rod assemblies have a stronger construction than stock. Made from impact-forged 4140 chrome-molybdenum steel. Designed to be used as Heavy Duty replacements for stock or modified engines. Complete with crank pin, crank pin nuts, Woodruff key, cages and rollers. Ready to install. Upgrade replacement for OEM 24275-86A.
Note: The connecting rod assemblies come complete with crankpin, nuts and a crankpin bearing set with a 17-roller alloy cage. All S&S connecting rods are somewhat heavier than stock due to their more robust construction. Rebalancing of the flywheel is recommended. Rebalancing may require additional work, but S&S decided not to sacrifice rod strength for convenience. All rod lengths are the same as stock (6.926" centre to centre for stock stroke engines).
