Barrels with silver finish. As far as performance is concerned, the bigger the better. This Sidewinder big bore kit is the largest possible without requiring additional work. There is no need to remove the engine, open up and machine the crankcases, or even rebalance the flywheels. Simply replace the standard barrels and pistons with these S&amp;S 4" big bore parts and you will be ready to achieve 100 HP. (note). 4" bore for standard 4-3/8" stroke. 10.5:1 compression ratio with standard cylinder heads. Forged piston with .75" dome. Compatible with standard 96/103" models with standard 4-3/8" stroke.
Note: S&S measured 101.39 bhp and 118.92 lb-ft of torque. They also used S&S 585 cams, Power Tune headers, slip-on mufflers, the stock EFI throttle body and an S&S Stealth air cleaner.
Note: Not suitable for 79cc S&amp;S heads.
