S&S, HVHP oil pump. Universal cover

With universal cover: Various feed and return options, allowing maximum flexibility for custom applications. This high volume, high pressure (HVHP) oil pump from S&S was designed for, and used on all, S&S Super Sidewinder Plus engines with 4-1/8" displacement. SSW+ engines are equipped with piston cooling jets that spray oil onto the underside of the pistons. This pump was designed to supply sufficient oil for the jets and the rest of the engine. Although the exterior is similar to standard S&S alloy pumps, the interior is different. Amongst other things, wider gears are used.

*New tooth profile on the feed and return gears for greater volume *Feed gears 9% wider *Return gears 28% wider *Same thickness as stock pumps. The stock drive shaft is reused.
