S&S, hydraulic tappet upgrade kit for Shovel. Evo lubrication

This kit is essentially the same set-up S&S uses in their SH-series 'Shovelhead' engines. It allows you to upgrade your Shovelhead to a more modern Evo-style valve train. The kit includes S&S Evo-style tappets, CNC-machined forged aluminium tappet guides, drilled Quickee adjustable pushrods for 'Evo-style top-end lubrication through the pushrod'. This top-end lubrication requires the use of the S&S 512493 roller rocker kit. Pushrod cover gaskets, hardware and retainers are also included.
Note: Requires the use of S&S 512493 roller rockers for the 'through the pushrod' upper lubrication set-up, as is standard on Evolution engines.
Note: An 84-99 style Evolution Big Twin camshaft must be used.
