Chain drive as standard. Includes cam only.
The largest direct bolt-in cam for big power and torque gains.
S&S dyno tested: 2023 Low Rider ST with HPT496 camshaft, Stealth air cleaner, Super Street exhaust, maximum power 120.73 @ 5770 RPM and maximum torque 127.04 @ 3230 RPM. 2023 Low Rider ST all stock: Maximum power 91.2 @ 4680 RPM and maximum torque 119.2 @ 2960 RPM.
Compatible with all stock components, but requires a high-flow air filter and exhaust silencers. With every cam change, S&S recommends its 583903 precision lifter kit. Gear-driven cams provide greater precision in valve timing, but generate more mechanical noise compared to chain-driven cams. The additional mechanical noise is the reason why original equipment manufacturers use chain-driven cams.
Note: For best performance, as with all high-performance cams, the use of a high-flow air filter and exhaust system is recommended.
