Levas S&S, gear-driven M8 HPT496G only

Gear drive. Includes the camshaft only.
The largest direct mount camshaft for huge gains in power and torque.
S&S dyno tested: 2023 Low Rider ST with HPT496 camshaft, Stealth air cleaner, Super Street exhaust, maximum power 120.73 @ 5770 RPM and maximum torque 127.04 @ 3230 RPM. 2023 Low Rider ST all stock: Maximum power 91.2 @ 4680 RPM and maximum torque 119.2 @ 2960 RPM.
Compatible with all stock components, but requires free-flowing air filter and exhaust mufflers. With every cam change, S&S recommends its 583903 precision lifter assembly set. Gear-driven cams provide greater precision in valve timing and more mechanical noise compared to chain-driven cams.
Note: For best performance, as with all high-performance cams, the use of a free-flowing air filter and exhaust system is recommended.
Note: With every cam change, S&S recommends its 583903 precision lifter kit sets.
Note: See the S&S camshaft specification chart in the Motorcycle Storehouse printed or online catalogue.
Note: See 709032 for this cam included in a complete camshaft kit, with all the necessary bearings, o-rings and hardware for a hassle-free installation.
